How the number is made
- Parts: what they cost you × (1 + your parts markup). At 100%, a $120 capacitor and contactor is $240.
- Labor: the hours the repair takes × your hourly rate (what an hour of a tech has to bill, not the wage).
- Price = parts + labor + the trip charge. Plan members pay that less their discount.
