Privacy Policy
1. The short version
Getjetsy Inc. ("Jetsy", "we", "us") runs Jetsy at getjetsy.com. We are Arizona-based. Jetsy answers phone calls and runs an office system for trade businesses. We collect only what we need to run it, we do not sell personal information, and the information about your customers belongs to you. This page explains what we collect, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it, and your choices.
2. Two kinds of people
Business customers are the businesses that sign up for Jetsy. We are the "business" or controller for your account information.
Callers and end customers are people who call, text or email a Jetsy business customer. For their information we act as a service provider (processor) for the business they contacted. The business decides what to do with it. If you are a caller and want to see or delete your information, please ask the business first; we will also help if you contact us.
3. What we collect
- Account and billing: your name, business name, email, plan, password (stored only as a one-way hash), the trade you work in, and the date you agreed to our Terms. Card details are entered on Stripe; we receive things like the plan, status and the last four digits, not the full card number.
- Calls: the caller's phone number, the time and length of the call, the audio recording, a written transcript, and a summary. Calls may be in English or Spanish.
- Your business records: customers, contacts, addresses, jobs, quotes, invoices, payments, notes, files, and email you connect or send through Jetsy.
- Messages: text messages and emails Jetsy sends or receives for you, and whether they were delivered.
- Location: job and customer addresses (sent to Google Maps for maps, addresses and routes). We do not track your phone's location.
- Technical: IP address, browser type, and security logs. Jetsy uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.
Please do not have callers give card numbers, government ID numbers or medical information over the Jetsy line.
How we use it
To provide and secure Jetsy: answer and log calls, transcribe and summarize them, run your customer and job records, send messages you ask for, bill you, give support, prevent abuse, and follow the law. We do not use your customers' information for advertising and we do not sell it. We do not use your call recordings or customer records to train AI models.
4. Who helps us (service providers)
We share information only with companies that help us run Jetsy, and only for that purpose:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Twilio | Phone lines, calls and text messages |
| Bland AI | The voice AI that talks on calls; handles call audio |
| Anthropic | AI that reads text (for example, summaries, transcripts and drafts) |
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions |
| Resend | Sending email |
| Google Maps (addresses and routes) and related services you choose to connect | |
| GoDaddy and Supabase | Hosting and database storage |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of the business (we would tell you). Each provider has its own privacy terms.
Your information is stored and processed in the United States and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate.
5. Call recording and AI
Jetsy answers as an automated AI assistant. Calls may be recorded and transcribed. Business customers are responsible for the notices and consents that their state's laws require for recording (see the Terms, Section 4). If you are a caller and you do not want to be recorded, tell the assistant or the business, or hang up and contact the business another way.
6. Text messages
Jetsy sends text messages for the business you are dealing with. We do not use your phone number for our own marketing and we do not share phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Reply STOP to any Jetsy text to stop messages from that business, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Restaurants: the register and their guests
A restaurant on Jetsy also keeps what its register and guest pages collect, for that restaurant: a guest's phone number or email when they ask for a receipt, join rewards or say yes to promotions; their visits, points and what they spent; the stars and words they leave after a meal; gift cards (who bought one, who it is for, their phone or email, and what is left on it); reservations (name, phone, how many, the time, and any note such as an allergy); card holds for big tables (the card stays with Stripe; we keep only that a card is on file and the amount the guest agreed to); and tips. A guest gets a promotion only after saying yes, and replying STOP ends texts from that restaurant. This information belongs to the restaurant and is kept as section 7 says; a guest who wants it removed can ask the restaurant, or us.
7. How long we keep it, and deletion
- While your account is active we keep your business records, call recordings and transcripts so you can use them. You can delete records inside Jetsy, or ask us to.
- After you cancel we keep your account for up to 90 days so you can come back or export your data, then delete it or make it anonymous, except what we must keep (see next point).
- What we may keep longer: billing and tax records, security logs, and anything we need for legal reasons or to settle a dispute. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
- Delete your account yourself any time: in Jetsy go to Delete my account (on iPhone: the gear button, then Delete my account). It cancels your plan and erases your business data right away. You can download everything first.
- Ask for a copy or deletion at any time by calling or texting 480-710-9816, or by sending a note at getjetsy.com/support with the email on the account. We will confirm who you are first, and we aim to respond within 45 days.
- Providers keep information under their own schedules while it is with them.
8. Your data belongs to you
Your customer, job, invoice, email and call data is yours. We use it only to provide Jetsy to you and do not sell it. You can ask for a copy in a common format.
9. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA, basics)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you certain rights, subject to exceptions:
- to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and to get a copy;
- to correct inaccurate information;
- to delete your information;
- to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of;
- to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for anything beyond running Jetsy);
- to not be treated worse for using these rights.
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories in Section 3 (identifiers, commercial information, audio recordings, internet activity, and approximate business-address location) and disclosed them only to the service providers in Section 4 for business purposes. To use a right, call or text 480-710-9816 or send a note at getjetsy.com/support. You may use an authorized agent. If your information is in Jetsy because you are a caller or customer of one of our business customers, we may direct your request to that business, because we handle it on their behalf.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access limits. No system is perfectly secure. Tell us at once if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
11. Children
Jetsy is for businesses and is not meant for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the version date above and, for a material change, tell business customers by email or in the app.
